Kana’i Bento, Kailua Director and Regional Director East

Kana’i Bento was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is a Kamehameha Schools graduate. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a Master’s degree in Education with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction and Early Childhood Education. She has been with Seagull Schools since 2011, and has worked in the Early Childhood field since 2006. Her main initiatives at Seagull Kailua are social/emotional development, family engagement, and school readiness. She enjoys working with staff to create engaging, safe, and fun learning environments for children and families. She also enjoys working with children and families and helping them develop into strong, independent individuals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son and family, and you can usually find them outdoors, at the beach, on their boat, or exploring our natural environment.
