Application Fee

A $50.00 non-refundable processing fee will be due when completing the online application.

Tuition

Tuition will correspond to your child’s classroom rate and will constitute the tuition rate for the duration of their time in that classroom. Tuition is charged for the entire month of the official termination date – we do not prorate tuition. The tuition rates for SY 24-25 are listed below.

The monthly childcare tuition rates beginning August 1, 2025 - July 31, 2026:

Seagull uses an online tuition collection system called Tuition Management (formerly Smart Tuition). All families are required to make payments using the Tuition Management/Smart Tuition system. Tuition fees must be paid via the Tuition Management/Smart Tuition system, which accepts check, money order, credit card or ACH transfer. Recurring charge card authorization may be used as a payment option. Credit card payments will be assessed an additional service fee (approx. 3.12%). Families have the free option to make payments via an ACH transfer.

In the event a tuition payment is returned or fails to process, Seagull reserves the right to require the family to make payment remittance via cashier’s check or money order. This includes any online transactions that were cancelled at the family’s or their bank’s request.

Any payment received after the tenth (10th) of the month will be assessed a $40.00 late fee. Children will not be admitted to the program after the 10th of the current month if there are outstanding tuition fees due. If all fees are paid by the 15th of the month the child will be re-admitted. If not, Seagull reserves the right to withdraw the student from the program and the deposit is subject to forfeiture.

No tuition adjustments will be provided for holidays and school closures or for absences or illnesses.

Comprehensive Fee

A $300.00 comprehensive fee will be assessed upon enrollment and annually in August, to cover the administrative and supply cost of starting the new school year. Enrollments made after August will be assessed a comprehensive fee on a prorated basis.

Deposit

When your child is scheduled for enrollment, one month’s tuition is required as a deposit to secure their spot in our program. This deposit is non-refundable, but will remain on your child’s account. It will be applied to the final full month’s tuition after all outstanding fees have been settled and a written notice submitted 30 days in advance of the child’s withdrawal date is provided. Please refer to your Family Handbook or contact the Director for more information about the 30-day written notice and how to determine the final month.

Late Pick-Up Charges

Parents are required to pick up their child by 5:00 p.m. exactly. Parents who have not assumed care of their child by 5:00 p.m. are required to pay a late fee of $30.00 for every fifteen minutes, or portion thereof, that they are late. If a parent is more than one hour late, and arrangements to pick up the child have not been made, a call will be made to the Child Welfare Services to have the child picked up by one of their workers. If a child is picked up late three times during the school year, the late pick-up fee will increase to $50.00 for every fifteen (15) minute increment after the center’s closing time.

Field Trip/Tee Shirt Fees

Children are required to wear their Seagull School T-shirt and closed toe shoes on field trips. The Seagull School T-shirt may be purchased from the school office. Admission and/or bus fare fees may be required for most events. Field trip costs and t-shirt fees must be paid in the Tuition Management System. No refunds will be given.
