Enrollment Procedures

  • Inquiry

    Families complete online inquiry form.  Seagull Schools will process and send a welcome email.
  • Application

    Families complete online application in the mySeagull Portal and submit the non-refundable application fee. Completed applications remain on the waitlist until a spot becomes available.
  • Decision

    Upon availability, Seagull Schools issues an acceptance letter.  Families accept or decline enrollment in the mySeagull Portal.
  • Contract and Deposit

    • Seagull assigns the family an enrollment contract in the mySeagull Portal.
    • Family reviews and signs the contract, affirming their commitment to attend the program.
    • A start date is assigned after a non-refundable deposit is collected to secure the child's spot.
  • Enrollment Requirements

    • Family completes and submits the required forms (see Required Forms below).
    • Family engages in a school tour and meets the classroom teachers before starting.
    • Family participates in the Parent Orientation.

  • Health Requirements and Required Forms

    Before enrollment, every child needs a current TB clearance, a physical examination, and up-to-date immunizations. Please let your child's center director know about any allergies or health concerns as a special care plan or additional medical documents may be required before starting.

    Two state-required forms must be submitted at enrollment:

    Form 14 (Student Health Record), obtained through your child's pediatrician. Form 908 (Early Childhood Pre-K Health Record Supplement).

    The following additional forms are also required. Please complete them as accurately and thoroughly as possible:

    Application Form, Release of All Claims, Authorization to Consent to Treatment of a Minor, Emergency Referral Card, Attachment to Child's Emergency Referral Card, Health Data Form, Photo and Video Release Form.

  • Children With Disabilities

    Seagull Schools complies with all local, state, and federal laws, including the ADA. We accept children with disabilities when we can reasonably accommodate their needs without undue hardship to staff or other children.
  • Special Needs

    Every child with special needs is considered individually. Assessments may involve outside professionals such as a psychologist or speech therapist. We admit children with special needs whenever possible, as long as we can meet the individual needs of that child within the scope of our staffing and training.
