  • Do you offer tuition aid?

    Seagull Schools Tuition Aid Program allows qualifying families to access scholarships to offset the cost of tuition. This program is funded through Seagull Schools with help from our generous donors such as the Samuel N. and Mary Castle Foundation.
  • Does Seagull Schools provide meals?

    Seagull Schools participates in the USDA Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and provides a nutritious breakfast, lunch & afternoon snack to all enrolled children at no extra cost.
  • Are there any excursions?

    Field Trips are an important part of our program (only enrolled children can attend excursions). Field Trips are part of the curriculum and enrichment activities.
  • Are Seagull Schools' programs licensed and/or accredited?

    Seagull Schools’ preschool programs are all fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and licensed by the Department of Human Services (DHS).
  • What is your classroom ratio?

    Seagull Schools maintains a maximum of 5:1 for children 12–24 months, 8:1 for two-year-olds, and 12:1 for three- to five-year-olds.
  • What is your average class size?

    Our class sizes vary based on age groups of the children and center location. Please contact the center directly for more information.
  • Does my child need to be potty trained?

    Toilet training is not an enrollment requirement at Seagull Schools.
  • Can I apply if my child has a delay?

    It is our center’s policy to comply with all local, state and federal laws and, in particular, the ADA Civil Rights Law for persons with disabilities.

    It is the center’s policy to not discriminate against persons with disabilities on the basis of disability, and to provide children and parents with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in the center’s program and services, in compliance with State Law and Federal American with Disabilities Act.

    If it is determined that Seagull cannot adequately meet needs of the child in terms of appropriate services and ensure their safety, then we will work with families to identify resources and/or programs that will better meet the specific needs of the child.
  • Do you offer special services for children?

    Seagull Schools consults with the State Department of Health Nursing Office - Public Nurse R.N., State Department of Health -Epidemiologist, and a Pediatrician on student health or behavioral issues. External resources and referrals may be provided to a family of a child who may require special services outside of Seagull’s capacity.
  • Does your program offer extra-curricular activities?

    Yes, extra-curricular activities are offered at all six of our campuses. Contact your campus directly for details.

Tuition fees must be paid via the Tuition Management/Smart Tuition system, which accepts checks, money orders, credit cards or ACH transfers.

  • Application Fee

    A non-refundable $50 application fee is required when you submit your online application.
  • Comprehensive Fee

    A $300 comprehensive fee is charged at the time of enrollment and again each August to cover administrative and classroom supply costs for the new school year. Families who enroll after August pay a prorated amount.
  • Deposit

    When your child is scheduled for enrollment, one full month's tuition is required as a deposit to secure their spot. This deposit is non-refundable but stays on your child's account and is applied to their final month's tuition, provided all outstanding fees are settled and you've submitted a written 30-day withdrawal notice. For details on the notice process and how the final month is determined, check your Family Handbook or contact your Center Director.
  • Late Fees

    Tuition late fees: Payments received after the 10th of the month incur a $40 late fee. If tuition remains unpaid after the 10th, your child will not be admitted until the balance is settled. If paid by the 15th, your child is re-admitted. If not paid by the 15th, Seagull reserves the right to withdraw the student and forfeit the deposit.

    Pick-up late fees: Please pick up your child by the campus closing time. A $30 fee applies for every 15 minutes (or portion) past closing. After three late pick-ups in a school year, the fee increases to $50 per 15-minute increment.

    If a parent is more than one hour late and has not made arrangements, we are required to contact Child Welfare Services (CWS) at 808-832-5300.
