About This Campus

Seagull’s newest campus opened in August 2023, bringing trusted early education to East Honolulu families. Aina Haina offers an intimate community setting for children ages 2 through 5, including those who are not yet toilet trained. Located on Kalanianaole Highway, the campus is designed for the kind of small, close-knit school experience that helps young children feel at home from day one.

7:00am: School opens; activities set up in classrooms
7:30am: Light breakfast
8:25am: Breakfast cleanup
8:30am: Outdoor play
9:30am: Morning meetings, singing, review calendar, colors, shapes, and overview of the day
9:45am: Cognitive and learning center activities
11:00am: Outdoor paly, large muscle activities
11:30am: Lunch
12:30pm: Clean up
12:15pm: Rest time, independent reading, bathroom
12:30pm: Story time
1:00pm: Rest time
2:30pm: Wake up, put blankets away, bathroom, snack time
3:00pm: Learning center activities
3:30pm: Outdoor play
5:00pm: School closes

Meet the Director

Cortney Li
Cortney Li was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and Master’s degrees in Curriculum Studies and Special Education. She has been at Seagull Schools since 2011 and has worked in the early childhood field since 2006.

She enjoys working with the children, families, and staff to create hands-on learning experiences and bridge the gap between home and school. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children and family.
