About This Campus

Set in the Ko Olina resort community on O‘ahu’s west side, this campus sits on land Seagull owns, with purpose-built facilities designed for early learning. Ko Olina is one of two Seagull campuses offering infant and toddler care (starting at 12 months), alongside programs for children through age 5. The campus features solar panels, naturally ventilated classrooms, and outdoor spaces that take full advantage of the surrounding landscape. The campus is licensed for 88 children ages 12 months to 2 years, and 40 children ages 2 to 5 years.

Meet the Director

Joanna Kwon

Joanna Kwon was born and raised on Oʻahu and is a proud alumna of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her career in early childhood education has spanned classroom teaching, family advocacy, and health services, giving her a broad perspective on what children and families need to thrive.

Beyond Seagull, she serves as a parent leader with the Hawaiʻi Children's Action Network Ohana Leadership Council, where she advocates for the well-being of Hawaiʻi's keiki and their families. As a mother of three young children, she understands firsthand the importance of nurturing strong foundations both at home and in the community.
